What are people searching for?

http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/ - A free third party equivalent.

How does the site rank?

http://www.mikes-marketing-tools.com/ranking-reports/ - This site is not pretty, but gives you the goods quickly. It also accrues your rank over time, so it's easy to see movement.

http://www.iwebtool.com/search_engine_position - This site is a backup site for us, when the first is not functioning.

Who Links to it?

http://www.iwebtool.com/link_popularity - this site will report on any documented back links to your site in google's databse.

http://www.backlinkwatch.com/ - This is a handy site, it finds much more than the google-only one above.

 

Another important resource for search engine optimization is your website's statistics. Most web hosting providers will provide built in tools to show stats, but we really like Google Analytics, which is a free service that provides a multitude of useful metrics.
